Andrea Corte

Andrea Corte was born in Genoa on August 5, 1946.  He is registered with the Milan Bar Association, and has been authorized to practice before the Higher Courts since 1987.  Andrea Corte is  currently the managing partner of the Corte Law Firm.  

Andrea Corte is one of the leading experts in Italian food law, having dedicated himself to the subject throughout his entire professional career.  He started its activity in the 1970s, when the Studio Legale Corte had just moved its headquarters to Milan. He worked as Honorary Deputy Magistrate at the Milan Court in the criminal sections for several years, from 1983-1987.  

He was a University Food Law Professor Professor at the School of Food Merceology of the Faculty of  Economics at the University of Bologna (1985) and then at the School of Toxicology of the Faculty  from  Pharmacy  of the University of Milan (1989-1998).  

Alongside the passion for his work, Andrea Corte has dedicated his life to another great passion, flying.  Airplane pilot (since 1979), glider pilot (since 1986) and helicopter pilot (since 1996), he has held various positions in the aeronautical world and achieved several awards.  

He chaired a number of Italian Aeroclubs (Aeroclub Milano 1987-1997, Aeroclub Piacenza from 1998-2004, and Aeroclub Bresso from 2012-2018).  

He was president of AOPA Italia, the Association of pilots and aircraft owners of aviation  general,  from 1997-2003.  

He was a Director of ENAC for two mandates, from 2004-2007 and from 2011-2016.  

As part of his flight activity, he ranked  in first place at the  Air Speed Race Trophy  Lombardy Region (1995), and obtained  two prestigious aeronautical awards: the  CONI bronze medal for sporting merit in 1996 e  the Paul Tissandier diploma issued by FAI, the  International Aeronautical Federation, in 2008.
